About Us

Handmade in Virginia. Built for the Road.

Welcome to BAD&G Customs. We are a premier leather goods shop based in Richmond, VA, proudly owner-operated since 2007.

In a world of mass-produced, overseas manufacturing, we do things differently. Every saddlebag, seat, and tool roll is handmade in-house using strictly US-sourced materials. We don't just assemble parts; we design solutions that fit the specific lines of your motorcycle, whether you ride a Sportster, a Dyna, or a vintage Norton.

Our Promise:

  • Custom Fit: We understand that no two bikes are identical. We offer complete custom design services to meet your exact specs.
  • Lifetime Quality: We use heavy-duty stitching and premium vegetable-tanned leather designed to age beautifully, not fall apart.
  • Direct to You: By selling directly to riders (and select dealers), we offer top-tier quality without the middleman markup.

The Origin of the BAD&G Name

Every name has a story. Ours began in Bulgaria, with four high school friends who shared one wild dream: to one day open a custom motorcycle shop. Those friends were Bill, Ali, Deyan, and me, Grigoriy—though most just call me Greg.

Back then, we didn’t have much more than notebooks full of sketches, long talks about bikes, and a vision that kept us going. After graduation, life started pulling us across the map. Bill, Ali, and I moved to the United States for college, while Deyan stayed in Bulgaria.

In 2007, the three of us in the States finally brought our dream to life. We started fixing motorcycles and building custom choppers in a small garage. Those years were raw, loud, and full of fire.

But as time went on, the road began to split. Ali moved to England to start his family. Bill chased a new career, though he still stays close. Deyan founded a successful upholstery shop back in our hometown of Razgrad.

The Dream Today

I chose a different path—I stayed with the dream. I turned my hands toward another passion: custom leatherwork. I never changed the name. I kept BAD&G Customs alive in honor of the brotherhood that started it all.

Today, I stand as the sole craftsman and owner. But every stitch, every bag, and every seat I make carries that story—the story of four kids chasing a dream, and of one who still rides it today.

Thank you for riding with us.
